Wednesday’s Word – Gobbledygook – when the dog starts writing blogs!

Gobbledygook

Noun: (gobuh l-dee-goo k)

  • pretentious or unintelligible jargon, such as that used by officials

Origin:

whimsical formation from gobble

Example:

“It’s easier to spread the gobbledygook than it is to take thirty seconds to do some research.”

My Thoughts:

Ever tried blogging with a dog vying for your attention? My dog can be worse than having a cat walk across the keyboard!  During the writing of my blog post – Man Overboard – she kept nudging the mouse with her nose or her paw, and when that didn’t work she stuck her whole Labrador sized head on the keyboard – giving me no choice except to divert my attention to her.  Blog writing stopped and serious hound cuddles started!  I was held to ransom with the threat of deletion, extra letters, and additional punctuation – she was doing a good job at writing a blog full of gobbledygook!

Maybe I should have posted her version, it may have been less gobbledygook than mine!
